30/07/08 - Roxtons sponsors GWCT's report on the re-establishing of grey partridges

Roxtons is proud to sponsor The Game & Wildlife Conservation Trust's groundbreaking 'Guidelines for re-establishing grey partridges' - launched at the GWCT Stand on the Friday of the CLA Game Fair, July 2008 at Blenheim Palace. For the past three years the Trust has been conducting cutting-edge research into the best methods of re-establishing grey partridges in areas where they no longer exist. This research is the culmination of an intensive three years of research, resulting in the production of practical guidelines aimed at those interested in restoring grey partridges on their land.

John Duncan, Roxtons Director of shooting, commented 'In these changing times we are aware of the ever-increasing need for sustainability and best practice. Over the last decade we have made substantial donations through our voluntary sporting levy in support of the vital work undertaken by the Game & Wildlife Conservation Trust and are delighted to continue this relationship'.
