Tarpon Fishing in Costa Rica is legendary. Located in the north east corner of Costa Rica and surrounded by the second largest rainforest reserve in the country lies the Colorado River, long famous for its tarpon and snook fishing. Situated within this verdant arena is the Silver King Lodge.

From this base both tarpon and snook are caught throughout the year with the spring and summer months proving to be best for tarpon whilst snook are in the ascendant from summer through to November.
