Kenya has long been famous for its superb marlin fishing and game viewing. It is a country with a rich history and offers a huge variety of activities from marlin fishing to lion watching.

The coast of Kenya provides some of the best bill fishing available in the world but it is important not to overlook the inshore fishing that can be superb. Giant Trevally, Rainbow Runners and Yellow Fin Tuna will make you work harder than you thought possible.

The bill fishing however, is the main attraction and from November to March the sailfish and marlin congregate in huge numbers as they chase the migratory baitfish that swarm down the African coast.

To concentrate solely on the fishing is possibly a waste as Kenya offers superb game viewing, water sports and safaris and it is best to try to combine two or three different lodges in your trip which really will offer you the holiday of a lifetime.
