Small Hope Bay, Bahamas

Small Hope Bay is an extremely relaxing lodge owned and run by the Birch family, it exudes great charm and is situated on Andros Island and an ideal base for fishing in The Bahamas.

Rods staying at Small Hope Bay are able to drive to different launch points each day, giving the flexibility to fish new areas or to find sheltered flats.

Andros Island is laced with inland waterways haloed by protected saltwater shallows and fishing takes place on the famous Bights and the more sheltered flats on the east coast.

Andros is renowned for having the largest bonefish in the Bahamas. Fish averaging a solid 4lbs to many in the 9+lbs class are encountered while even larger bones work the edges of the flats. There is an honest opportunity to see and hopefully catch bonefish weighing in the double digit category - a thrill for any fisherman.

Accommodation

Cottages are located on the beach and hand-built out of local corals and native Andros pine. Each have private bathrooms and are shaded by palm trees and cooled by fresh sea breezes.
Small Hope Bay welcomes children, organising a wide range of games and activities for all ages.

The all-inclusive lodge provides a uniquely Bahamian atmosphere for families looking for relaxation and the Bahamas's renowned bonefishing.
