The Bitterroot River is a freestone river with its headwaters at the upper end of the Bitterroot Valley, just west of the Continental Divide. The Bitterroot River flows north through the valley into the Clark Ford of the Columbia River, west of Missoula. Our river is about 98 miles long including the East and West Forks and offers blue ribbon fishing for trout including Rainbow, Brown and West Slope Cutthroat.
Whether a beginner, intermediate or expert angler, you can travel with your experienced guide down the Bitterroot River for a memorable day of fishing.
Huge cabins with hot tubs on decking overlooking the woods, beds that are so comfortable that it can be difficult to get up in the mornings, a wide range of cuisines from sumptuous picnics to gourmet dinners and fine wines to suit every palette and even your own golf buggy to drive to the main lodge.
Catering for guests aged sixteen or over it is a great place in which to unwind and really enjoy the best that Montana has to offer.
With some of the most stunning trails into the peaks of the Rockies, the ranch offers the chance to ride and view the world from a different angle.
