Striped and Blue Marlin Fishing
The bluewater fishing off Cabo is arguably the most productive in the world. In just minutes from the marina you can be putting your spread over billfish and people have long flocked here to experience this very unique fishing nirvana.

Striped marlin are the main target species and they are ferocious and acrobatic fighters but blue and black marlin as well as sailfish are also caught; their presence depends on the time of year. The fishing grounds are extraordinarily productive and if you want to tangle with a billfish this is the destination that should be at the top of your list.
Tuna, rooster fish and dorado are other species which are caught frequently.

Los Milagros
Los Milagros is a small boutique hotel, located right in the centre of down town Cabo, yet sufficiently set back in its own peaceful enclosed courtyard to leave the noise and bustle of tourism behind. It is within walking distance of the best restaurants and bars and only 5 minutes from the marina and sportfishing operators. With only 12 rooms, all with ensuite facilities, you will be assured of personal experience at all times.
With a sunbaked terrace, beautiful courtyard gardens and a plunge pool, this is the perfect oasis for non-fishers or for relaxation after a long day in the chair. In the evenings all the public areas are lit by candlelight and soft Mexican music is played. It should be noted that meals, except for muffins and coffee in the morning, are not provided, unless the lodge is taken exclusively or you are a large group.
There are masses of other options in Cabo, from 6 star boutique hotels to bed and breakfasts near the marina but Los Milagros is our “go to” option.
Each boat is provided with Shimano or Penn International reels, and custom Pisces Offshore Series Cape Fear rods in the 16 to 50lbs class.
The crew are experts in preparing bait and the skipper will ensure that you have everything you need for a productive day.

Eco tours, especially the gray whale migration, humpback whales, golf, watersports, swimming, the beach and of course, shopping and the nightlife! The marina is huge, a cross between Puerto Banus, Hollywood and a small souk in Africa! There are lots of bars, shops, restaurants, street vendors etc selling almost everything imaginable. It is quite touristy, but great fun.

The official currency is the Mexican Peso but US dollars are widely used and are preferred in the hotel and for tips.
Tips
In Mexico, it is custom to tip the staff and guides for the services they provide. We recommend $50-60 per boat per day.

Medical Requirements
Although at present no inoculations are required for travel to Mexico please consult your doctor prior to your trip. It is essential that you carry any personal medicines that you might require.
Insects
Mosquitoes can be a pest during the latter part of the day and evening as well as around the lagoons. We recommend good strong repellent and long sleeve shirts and trousers.
