New bridge at Gordonbush for the Balnacoil falls

Following the tremendous rains caused by the tail end of Hurricane Bertha last summer which completely washed away the old bridge crossing at the famous Balnacoil falls pool, we are delighted that last week saw the successful installation of the new construction. Tony Smith the estate factor has managed the whole project from the start -  the new steel and timber bridge was built by Tony on the estate.

Due to the remote location the simplest way to complete the installation was by helicopter! The finishing touches will be completed this week and we are looking forward to the feedback from the fishing tenants this year. We still have one or two summer weeks left and please see our availability page for more details.
