Andy B reports from Tierra del Fuego

Andy B has just returned from The Rio Grande in Argentina. This season will not go down as a vintage year but there were still some impressive moments. Andy reports...

'With days of very low warm water combined with cold air temperature and days of 90km winds, it made for some tricky and sometimes difficult fishing this year at Estancia Maria Behety.

However, that said, on some sessions when the air temperature rose and the wind dropped, it was back to the Tierra del Fuego we all know.

For example, on the last night I landed 53lb of sea trout by means of only four fish all caught from the same pool, and Mark Jackson landed 7 fish in one morning from beat 31b.

Anyway, as usual, Roxtons did a fine job in making it happen!'
