The Ladyfish
The grey ghost of the tropical flats - perhaps the most sought after fish by saltwater fly fishermen. Bonefish are recognized as one of the fastest fish on the flats and are generally caught in shallow waters that provide superb sight fishing opportunities.
Their long, slender bodies are streamlined and built for speed and power and when hooked take off like a torpedo and change directions regularly.
In addition to having a reputation as one of the most easily spooked saltwater fish, bonefish can swim at lightning-fast speeds which makes for challenging, yet rewarding fishing.
