East Ranga - A New Roxtons Exclusive Destination
We are delighted to announce that the prime fishing season of the East Ranga river is now exclusively to be marketed by Roxtons.
The East Ranga Lodge and rods were purchased from Lax-a in summer 2019 by friends of both Roxtons and Lax-a. Subsequently a further agreement was made with the East Ranga river owners to ensure that all rods from 1 July – 3 September were secured (i.e. the entire prime fishing on this very productive river.)

Dorado fishing in the jungle? For years I have been hearing about the extraordinary fishing that was being reported from Bolivia but I could never get very excited about it.
Too hot, too humid, too far, too full of bugs and given the videos I had seen, I thought that the fishing might be a bit easy.

2019 Season Review
The 2019 season on the Varzuga will go down in the books as one of our better ones. The final overall numbers make impressive reading with 152 clients landing over 6,500 fish in a 6 week period. It worked out at an average of just over 44 fish per rod per week – superb fishing by any measure.
