Sunday 26th July will go down as a day to remember on the East Ranga. 16 rods landed a staggering 223 salmon, the previous river record being 215. This is a simply incredible average of 14 salmon per rod for the DAY!
The East Ranga has fished well from the very start of the season with many high quality multi sea winter salmon measuring in excess of 90cm. Larger flies and sink tips have been the most productive but a recent week saw over 150 salmon taken on floating lines and decent sized hitched Sunray Shadows and Collie Dogs.
There is some discounted August availability for those who can travel at short notice. If you are interested, then please let us know at info@roxtons.com
