Having had a wide variety of weather during the previous week Barry Green’s team were greeted with a near perfect shooting day with overcast conditions and a light northwesterly wind. The team were given some great drives in the form of Windwhistle, Tom’s Hedges, Shercombe and Miltons’ Rocks. These produced bag of 299 birds for just under 2000 shots. It was lovely to see some new blood at Miltons and, in particular, some youngsters who delighted in the challenge that Miltons’ birds are renowned for.
