MPs unanimously decide to take no further action against grouse shooting
The Government has dismissed calls for a ban on driven grouse shooting after hearing it would be an 'epic gamble for rural economies' and result in 'an ornithological desert'...
We are delighted to hear that MPs voted unanimously to take no further action after the debate in parliament following a petition to ban driven grouse shooting reached 123,077 signatures. Mark goes on to say that such Petitions are a 'much better way of getting the attention of decision-makers than riots, but especially when MPs listen. We need to keep raising the issues. We will be heard.'
