Roxtons Gun Draw winner announced

The Countryside Alliance Gun Draw has been won by Mr Barry Green from Alcester in Warwickshire. The draw, for a 300 bird day for eight guns at one of Roxtons’ premier shoots, was made at the CLA Game Fair by Countryside Alliance Chief Executive Alice Barnard and Roxtons Director of Shooting John Duncan
Mr Green now has the choice of any of Roxtons’ shoots in the country, including the fabled Miltons in Somerset, Drynachan in Invernesshire or Hurdcott in Wiltshire for his day with for 8 guns, which will be taken during the forthcoming season. The day is worth up to £14,000, and includes accommodation.
Countryside Alliance Chief Executive Alice Barnard commented: “Congratulations to Mr Green, who has a great day’s sport to look forward to this season, we know he will have a top class day. We are extremely grateful to Roxtons for providing this day and helping us raise a fantastic £40,925 for our shooting campaign. The shooting campaign is working hard to promote and defend shooting sports and the money raised from this draw will go straight into continuing that work.
Roxtons Director of Shooting John Duncan, said: “We are delighted to have been able to help raise such a significant amount of money for the Countryside Alliance and will ensure that Mr Green has an unforgettable day’s shooting.”
