We are delighted to publicise Cold Aston Estate as being one of our new simulated game shooting venues. Cold Aston Estate in Gloucestershire is just off the A40, 18 miles East of Cheltenham. Set in beautiful deep rolling grassy valleys, Cold Aston is one of the finest simulated shoots. The topography lends itself perfectly to simulated game shooting, showing very high challenging and exciting sport. Not only is the shooting fantastic, but the hospitality, shoot lodge and the gun bus are world-class and make for the most memorable simulated game shooting experience.
We have developed the shoot off the back of over the ten years experience in simulated game shooting. We are confident that we have created an experience with character and humour, which will prove an exciting challenge to ‘sharp shooters’ and novices alike – in short, a unique event.
The days are designed for up to 18 people. We can also arrange the day to suit both experienced and inexperienced guns so that everyone can enjoy the day. For those who haven’t shot before, instructors are readily available.
It is extraordinary how much fun guns have poaching their next door neighbours’ birds and competitive team banter and leg-pulling is a vital ingredient of the day. What makes this totally different from any other simulated game day is that it is more than just providing driven birds. Whilst there are traditional driven drives for partridge, pheasant and grouse.
Our days take place between 1st March and 31st August.
