Charlie has been our Director of Fishing for over 20 years and has been fortunate enough to sample the majority of all of our destinations, be they freshwater or saltwater.
From the remote Amazonian rainforest to the stark landscapes of Iceland, Charlie has seen them all and is able to offer wide ranging, independent advice that is second to none.
Louise Laycock
Senior Fishing Consultant
With 25 years of experience at Roxtons, Louise is arguably one of the most well-travelled fisherwomen in the UK.
With a deep passion and extensive knowledge of Cuba, Iceland, the Bahamas and the Seychelles, she is perfectly placed to offer insightful advice on many of our favoured destinations. Having successfully hosted trips to Cuba and Iceland over the years, Louise brings first-hand experience to her recommendations. She has seen both the administrative and sales side of Roxtons, and combined with her extensive travels, she can provide expert guidance on all aspects of your trip from a position of genuine experience.
James Dent
Fishing Consultant
James was brought up on the River Test in Hampshire and has an in depth knowledge of fly fishing, deer stalking and bird shooting.
Having qualified in Arboriculture, James worked for a number of years in the Forestry sector before spending three years helping to set up a small sporting agency specialising in shooting and fishing holidays in Iceland and in the UK.Since joining Roxtons in April 2006 James has worked with sporting estates the length and breadth of the country gaining a full knowledge of the UK sporting market. James' real area of expertise is Scotland, where he has fished, shot and stalked on many of the great estates and as such is well placed for advising clients on trips to this part of the world.
Lynsey Mair
Fishing Co-ordinator
Lynsey has been with Roxtons for 19 years and has been responsible for fishing administration in numerous locations.
Her time at Roxtons has given her a fantastic knowledge of our rivers and lodges. She currently runs the administration for Los Roques in Venezuela and Canada, as well as looking after our Scotland and Ireland programmes.Lynsey’s knowledge, attention to detail, and experience are second to none.
Lorraine Humphries
Fishing Co-ordinator
Lorraine joined the Roxtons team in 2019, bringing with her a wealth of experience gained from careers in both administration and teaching.
Her calm considered approach and exceptional attention to detail make her an invaluable member of the team and a trusted point of contact for clients.As Roxtons' lead specialist for Argentina, and with responsibility for Bolivia, Chile, and Norway, Lorraine has developed extensive knowledge of our fisheries and destinations. A recent visit to Argentina, including time spent fishing the legendary Rio Grande, has given her first-hand experience of one of the world's most iconic sea trout rivers, allowing her to offer clients genuine insight and practical advice when planning their own adventures.
Lorraine's own fishing experiences continue to broaden, from pursuing sea trout in Argentina to saltwater fishing in Cuba, further enhancing her understanding of the destinations and fisheries she represents. She is committed to helping clients find the perfect fishing experience, ensuring every trip is tailored to their aspirations and delivered with the highest level of care and expertise.
