Charlie White
Director of Fishing
After a career in the City, saving money to go fishing, Charlie decided to make his passion his profession.
Having sampled the majority of all of our destinations, be they freshwater or saltwater, Charlie is fortunate enough to be able to compare and contrast the relative merits of all of the fisheries that we offer. His formative career with us was to run operations on the incomparable Varzuga, a position he adored. Now he concentrates on advising our clients on the best places to fish at the best times.
Henry Mountain
Director
Henry joined Frontiers International in 1995 and spent 10 years there, the last five as a Director of the company.
In 2006 he co-founded the Fly Fisher Group which merged with Roxtons in 2015. He has a wealth of destination experience covering both fishing and shooting.Areas of knowledge:
Fishing: Argentina, Australia, Bahamas, Canada, Chile, Cuba, Iceland, New Zealand, Norway, Panama, Russia, Seychelles, UK.
Louise Laycock
Senior Fishing Consultant
Having started in our Shooting Department, Louise is arguably now one of the best travelled fisherwomen in the UK.
With a special passion and knowledge for Cuba, Iceland, Montana and the Bahamas she is well placed to offer insightful help and advice on many of our favoured destinations. Louise has seen both sides of the coin at Roxtons from the administration to the sales and combined with her extensive travelling she can advise on all aspects of your trip from a position of experience.
James Dent
Fishing Consultant
James was brought up on the River Test in Hampshire and has an in depth knowledge of fly fishing, deer stalking and bird shooting.
Having qualified in Arboriculture, James worked for a number of years in the Forestry sector before spending three years helping to set up a small sporting agency specialising in shooting and fishing holidays in Iceland and in the UK.Since joining Roxtons in April 2006 James has worked with sporting estates the length and breadth of the country gaining a full knowledge of the UK sporting market. James' real area of expertise is Scotland, where he has fished, shot and stalked on many of the great estates and as such is well placed for advising clients on trips to this part of the world.
Lynsey Mair
Fishing Co-ordinator
Lynsey has been with Roxtons for a number of years and has been responsible for fishing administration in numerous locations.
Her time at Roxtons has given her a fantastic knowledge of our rivers and lodges. She currently runs the administration for the Yokanga as well as looking after our Scotland and Ireland programmes.Lynsey’s knowledge, attention to detail and experience is second to none.
Lorraine Humphries
Fishing Co-ordinator
Lorraine joined the Roxtons team in March 2019. With a background in administration and teaching Lorraine brings a wealth of experience to the role of fishing co-ordinator.
Attention to detail and a measured steadiness under pressure make Lorraine a very valuable member of the team.Whilst mainly handling the Russia fishing operations Lorraine has already acquired a strong working knowledge of all aspects of our fishing programs and looks forward to helping clients get the right advice for their chosen destination.
