New Fish Legal Film
Previously known as the Anglers Conservation Association, Fish Legal is a non-profit organisation that uses the law to protect the water environment, taking action against polluters and regulators that fail to live up to their responsibility.
Do take a look at the new Fish Legal film below.
La Villa Maria Behety, Week 12
Week 12 proved to be an incredible week with 162 seatrout landed, making an average catch of 23 fish per rod. 17 were over the 15lb mark. The middle and upper parts of the river produced the most in this week.
Russian Season Cancelled for 2022
With recent events we have taken the decision not to run our 2022 season on both the Varzuga and Yokanga in Russia.
This is of course a blow to all of our clients but also to our great friends and partners in Russia who have no influence on worldwide politics.
We can only hope that things change and we can be on the river in 2023 - it has been far too long since we were there and we look forward to a long overdue reunion.
La Villa Maria Behety, 12-19 February 2022
Thanks to Philip Donetti for your kind words about your trip to La Villa Maria Behety.
It was so good to be back on the Rio Grande after two years. I managed 29 fish, six of which were in the ‘book’ - 15lbs or more. The elusive No Blank Club, where you need to catch a fish in every session, eluded me by one zone which produced a 2lb sea trout. Only fish of 3lb or more are counted!
La Villa Maria Behety, Week 5, 29 January-5 February 2022
Well it was another great week at La Villa Maria Behety for our team of Roxtons clients with three of the six rods catching more than 30 seatrout each. The final tally was 130 for the week with an average weight of 9lbs. 20 were over the 15lb mark and there were 2 over 20lbs with the largest weighing in at 24lbs.
