Alaska - Mission Lodge, Usa
Whether you have been to Alaska twenty times or this is your first time, Mission Lodge will be an unforgettable experience of great fishing and unsurpassed comfort.
Mission Lodge is considered to be one of Alaska’s finest fly-out lodge operations. It is located on the shores of Lake Aleknagik in the heart of the world famous Bristol Bay region of southwest Alaska. This area offers unsurpassed trophy fishing for salmon and trout in a spectacular wilderness setting.
Each day you are taken out to the rivers by floatplane to a different location where you can target five species of Pacific Salmon, Rainbow Trout, Arctic Char, Dolly Varden, Arctic Grayling, Lake Trout and Northern Pike and many combinations thereof.
Mission Lodge’s goal is to utilise the various fisheries while they are in their prime. To do this they will fly you and your group out to different rivers and streams depending on the species that you are interested in targeting that day.
Each evening before supper, Mission’s head guide will confer with you to see what kind of experience and the type of fish you would like to target the following day.
