The first week of march ended, we had a group that came for the second year.
the river was low until Thursday, There it grew And got a little dirty.
Since Thursday we use sinking lines and larger flies.
Emb, green machine and rio grande queen were the best flies of the week.
The fishing was very good, 10 percent of the catches were 20 pounds or more.
Everyone in the group took out some 20 pounds and even some 2 o 3.
We landed 96 fish, 30 over 15 pounds, 10 over 20 pounds.
Top rod of the week was mark walton with 23 fish on the net.
Christian Morrison got the biggest fish with 24 pounds.

Fishing Conditions
Flies that are working the best: Different sizes of sunray shadows, small salmon flies, nymph ( scuds,red tail, emb, prince, pheasant tail), green machine , for the last hour (intruder, leech, sunray ).

In deeper pools , sinking lines with nymphs dead drifting.

Fly lines (tips, heads, lengths, densities, etc) that are producing the best: Skagit heads with different lengths of T-20,17,14, 11, scandi with polyleaders .
Sinking skagit (game changer ), with high water in deep pools.
We recommend bringing two rods, one to use with scandi and another with skagit lines, and also a single handed rod or switch rod for the upper part of the river.
Length and strength of tippet and leaders: 7 to 12 feet. 15 to 20 pounds.
Middle and upper part of the river is the best.
We started to see some darker fish.
