The Delphi Club, Bahamas
If bonefishing is your sport then the extensive shallow waters of the world renowned Abaco Marls, a perfect habitat for bonefish, offers true sight casting to perhaps a record sized fish or a large school of tailing bones.
The Delphi Club’s guides are all hugely experienced professionals guiding you from a fleet of 6 Hell’s Bay skiffs. After breakfast you will be taken to one of the many launch points and embark on a wonderful day of fishing. Blue water fishing is also available on their new 27ft Grady White (this is weather & tide dependant and needs to be booked in advance).
Fishing in the Bahamas and particularly on Abaco Island is of top quality, with the famous Marls on the west side of the island offering over 200 square miles of first-class bonefishing flats which also give fishermen an occasional shot at permit and tarpon in the summer months. On the east side the stunning sandy flats at Cherokee Sound offer some wonderful wading for bonefish.
The Club boasts a fully stocked boutique pro-shop, with a variety of gear to kick start your fly-fishing adventure. Rental gear is also available, including a fly rod, reel, line and backing. There is also a dedicated fly-tying desk.
