Set in the heart of the Highlands, this sporting estate offers world-class fishing, striking scenery, and beautifully appointed lodgings.
Newly refurbished, Lairg Lodge offers accommodation for up to 14 guests across nine thoughtfully designed bedrooms, with additional quarters available for a private chef. The lodge includes a dedicated housekeeper and experienced ghillie to ensure your stay runs seamlessly.
Further accommodation is available including Phil’s House, one of two smaller year-round holiday lets. With three bedrooms & three bathrooms, sleeping up to six guests, this eco lodge offers comfortable accommodation and access to the river, with up to four rods available depending on season and availability. Pets welcome across all lodgings.
Fishing
The salmon fishing season on the Shin runs from the end of May through to the end of September. Guests enjoy 3.5 miles of prime water on the Upper Shin, offering 8 rods across 32 named pools included within your stay at the Lodge, and available on request at Phil’s . The river’s water level is regulated by two upstream hydro dams, ensuring consistently good fishing conditions throughout the summer months. The beat is divided into two four-rod sections, which rotate at lunchtime. Seasonal trout fishing on the loch is also available on request.
Stalking/Shooting
Seasonal stalking and clay pigeon shooting can be arranged by the team at nearby estates, offering a traditional Highland sporting experience tailored to your preferences.
