So, there we have it – five weeks of unadulterated bliss with some of the world’s finest fishing.

The final trip was just as those were before – perfect.

It seems only moments ago that I was greeting the first clients of the hosted season and now we have just waved goodbye to the last team.  The common theme is that everyone has enjoyed every second of it – apart from some sunburnt lips! I cannot recall a single negative comment about the entire experience.

We have caught everything you could possibly hope for and there really are genuinely very few places where one minute you can be wading, ankle deep and casting to a 10lb bonefish and the next trolling a lure and being smashed by a sailfish.

The island is very cool place to be.  We are in an all-inclusive lodge, but we have still been tempted to go to a beach bar in the evenings, drink mojitos and watch the pelicans diving for minnows all with a wonderful sunset in the background.

We have had over 40 clients here, each with unique goals for their trip – and without exception every one of them has absolutely loved the experience.
