La Villa Lodge Fishing Report – 24 to 31 Jan

by La Villa Maria Behety - Diego Motter, Head Guide

January is over, another group that is the same every year. Very fun.

The fishing was slow, very hot days, the water reached almost 20 c, the fish did not want to bite.

There are many fish in the river, we hope to have a much better next  week.

In the low water areas it was fished well with floating lines using (green machine, emb, salmon fliel, sunray).

In the deep pools it was a little more complicated to get fish. Activated at the end of the day.

We landed 55 fish, 14 over 15 pounds.

Top rod of the week was Alexander B with 14 fish on the net.

Jonathan B got the biggest fish with  20 pounds.
