In attempt to broaden our horizons in South America, we visited in May our current dove shooting lodges and also a selection of exciting new high volume dove shooting lodges. Santiago Del Estero is a new lodge in the northern region of Argentina, that really stood out and exceeded all our expectations having heard a collection of great rumours. The traditional hunting lodge is blessed with quantities of doves, like it was in the old days, guns can shoot until their hearts are content. Having been so impressed, we are delighted to offer the chance to join an exciting, hosted trip to Santiago Del Estero lodge.
The dates we have to offer for our hosted trip are, 26th February 2025 – 5th March 2025. At this time of the year the doves will be their most prolific, flighting to and from roost for the longest periods of the day, creating a fantastic balance between variation of shots and quantity. Hides are strategically positioned for the morning flight and then again for the afternoon. You will return to the lodge for a mouthwatering lunch, or the Santiago Del Estero team will come to the field and produce an asado of dreams.
Santiago Del Estero is nestled away off a secluded dirt road in the Northern region of Argentina. The lodge was originally built in 2008 in the style of a traditional Spanish finca. In 2020 the lodge underwent a complete refurbishment, today offering 11 generous ensuite bedrooms along with a swimming pool, hot tub, small gym, and treatment room for Guns who are looking to relax and cool down after a busy day in the field.
The price is $4,490 per a person for four nights full board accommodation and shooting, gun hire, shooting licences and transfers to and from the airport to the lodge. Excluding international and internal flights, cartridges, hotels and transfers in Buenos Aires.
