Thimbleby Estate has announced an exciting new partnership with leading sporting agency Roxtons to manage and promote its Simulated Game Days for the 2026 season.
Set within the stunning landscape of the North York Moors National Park, Thimbleby Estate has developed a reputation as one of the UK’s most exciting venues for simulated game shooting. The collaboration with Roxtons will further enhance the estate’s offering by bringing together Thimbleby’s exceptional terrain, hospitality and sporting infrastructure with Roxtons’ renowned expertise in delivering premium sporting experiences.
Simulated game shooting has become one of the fastest-growing sectors in the UK shooting calendar, offering the thrill and challenge of a driven game day outside the traditional season. Thimbleby’s unique topography—steep valleys, wooded hillsides, and expansive moorland views—provides an ideal setting to recreate the drama and excitement of high birds and traditional drives.

Under the new partnership, Roxtons will oversee booking and client management for the simulated days, helping to bring the estate to a wider audience of sporting clients both in the UK and internationally.
A typical simulated day at Thimbleby includes a full programme of drives designed to mirror traditional game shooting, with challenging targets, experienced loaders, and professional organisation throughout the day. Guests enjoy locally sourced catering and hospitality in the estate’s clubhouse, creating an authentic and memorable sporting experience.
