The mighty Zambezi is home to the famous tiger fish, one of the most revered fish in Africa and one that is high on any list of favoured species for the devoted fisherman.
The tiger fish is a fish that is a fearsome predator and shows no mercy for its prey. The take of a tiger is explosive, it leaps and twists with a power beyond its size once hooked. More often then not they are lost, both through their savage takes and the huge teeth that tear through the line but the experience and exhilaration is a feeling you will crave again and again.
The lodges along the river are all excellent and the safari side of the trip is something that cannot be overstated.
